It provides an understanding of how to effectively manage a child and/or adolescent with mucositis.
This course presents an overview of what mucositis is, how it may develop and how to identify, monitor and prevent it.
This module uses a case study to describe the management of mucositis.
This module was developed by the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS), with input from the Children’s Cancer Centres at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Monash Children’s Hospital.
