ADAC Workshops during COVID19
Hello everyone,
I'm just wondering what different areas are doing to address ADAC Workshop during COVID19 - there will still be a need to train staff to administer chemotherapy - but I'm aware that a workshop would go against DHHS/Govt & organisational guidelines on social distancing.
Has anyone or eviQ thought of an alternative to this?
I was thinking that perhaps staff begin working through their record of administration and attend a workshop at the end of they year? Not ideal as the workshops really allow staff a safe environment to consolidate what they have learnt in the modules before commencing chemo admin.

RE:ADAC Workshops during COVID19
Hi Pippin
We have been doing 90 minute sessions to cover the elements from the full day workshop. I have had 2-3 staff members to maintain the social distancing requirements. Feedback has been positive overall.

RE:ADAC Workshops during COVID19
I've been thinking about the ADAC Skills Workshops. I have decided to run half day workshops with 2-3 physical attendees and the nurses from more regional areas attend via VC. They will then come into our hospital for the practical component and administration over 2 -4 days.
