Malignant Pleural Effusion (MPE)

Learn

Could shortness of breath in your patient be a sign of Malignant Pleural Effusion (MPE)? MPE is a complication of advanced cancer and affects up to 15% of all cancer patients. Identifying and managing malignant pleural effusion is key to maintaining quality of life for people with cancer.

Our rapid learning package includes a 5-minute mini-module to help you:

  • recognise the signs and symptoms of malignant pleural effusion
  • assess the severity
  • initiate the right interventions and escalate care appropriately.
