ADAC Reassessment has changed

New resource coming in June

We are excited to announce the release of the newly re-visioned Reassessment component of ADAC – reassessment of clinical competency!

The new resource represents a move towards assessing the continuous maintenance of both knowledge and clinical skill by engaging the learner using reflective practice. With this in mind the course has moved away from an eLearning module and eQuiz to a suite of competency assessment resources to support facilitators.

Register for facilitator training

Are you a facilitator responsible for reassessment within your facility? We'll step you through the changes and train you in using the new resources at our online event on Wednesday 26 June @ 2.00pm.

Radiation Oncology Nursing Course

We have made good progress towards the development of the single comprehensive blended learning course for radiation oncology nursing.

We heard loud and clear from over two hundred health professionals covering all healthcare settings that the lack of a specialised, standardised education program is one of the biggest challenges facing the radiation oncology nursing workforce.

Project update:

  • We’ve engaged our expert reviewers, representing every state and territory and healthcare setting across Australia, and some friends from New Zealand.

  • We’ve analysed 227 survey results and uploaded them to the project page

  • We have begun planning the course structure.

See you at CNSA!

We’re excited to be presenting a project update at the Radiation Oncology Nursing symposium, as part of CNSA in June, to share initial plans for course structure. We will also host a booth as part of the main conference and would love to see you!

Our fabulous SME Courtney Oar delivered some juicy stats from the first 6 months of implementation as part of the symposium.
