This module is for health professionals new to paediatric oncology, and families of children with cancer. It is designed to promote the benefits of regular physical activity for children living with cancer.
This module provides an overview of the importance of physical activity for children living with cancer. It highlights different activity types and recommended dosage and the factors that affect a child’s ability to engage in physical activity.
This module was developed by the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) with input from the Children’s Cancer Centre at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
