Information for facilitators

Detailed information for facilitators of eviQ Education courses (ADAC, Paediatric ADAC, the Pharmacy Anti-cancer Drug course and other non-ADAC blended learning) is available via a dedicated password protected section of the eviQ Education website.

Register an account with eviQ Education. When you set up your profile, please indicate if you are in a facilitator role under ‘Required access for your facility’. Please also select the discipline you represent (Adult nursing facilitator, Paediatric nursing facilitator, Pharmacy facilitator, Radiation oncology facilitator)

If you are already registered as a user, you can edit/update your profile to access the facilitator toolbox.

This is the dedicated (password protected) section of the eviQ Education website, which contains a suite of course-specific, comprehensive online resources for facilitators. This includes:

  • online training/recordings
  • assessor guides and assessment tools, including a scoring matrix
  • downloadable certificates to issue to learners
  • Powerpoint presentations and a facilitator workshop guide
  • printable resources that can be used to facilitate the learning activities.

It is recommended that facilitators and clinical assessors of blended learning courses have completed the relevant course and have a thorough understanding of materials to ensure currency and accuracy when:

  • supporting learners though the course
  • supervising clinical skills practice sessions
  • completing competency assessments.

eviQ Education recommends any person taking on a facilitator or assessor role has a minimum of 3 years’ experience (for instance, in the administration of anti-cancer drugs and experience in workplace assessment, or in cancer pharmacy for that course).

Facilitators and clinical assessors must be:

  • experienced and competent in the clinical skills assessed
  • approved by their health facility to undertake clinical assessments.

We periodically conduct online webinars and invite facilitators to participate. Please visit the training calendar for the next available date.

There are also online communities of practice for ADAC (accessible via the facilitator toolbox) which give you immediate access to a national group of facilitators and the eviQ Education Subject Matter Expert, via a teams chat. You may contact the eviQ Education team regarding any specific questions.

Any key changes to ADAC or other courses will be emailed to all registered facilitators via the eviQ Education newsletter and updated on the toolbox and Microsoft Teams chat. Detailed information and instructions will be provided about implementing changes within your health facility.
